Overview

UPGRADING OF 12 THERMAL PRINTERS for Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality. The RFQ targets accredited service providers with hardware/POS experience, capable of upgrading 12 TM-T88VII thermal printers (USB, Ethernet, receipt printing, cash drawer support) and delivering in Queenstown.

Requirements

• Company must submit a CK registration and be in the National Treasury CSD database; SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN required.
• Certified copies of directors’ IDs; JV agreements (if applicable) and full tender forms completed.
• Proof of municipal rates/service account clearance or lease documentation as applicable; local content declarations if required.
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for BBBEE status; adherence to SCM/PPPFA 80/20 evaluation.
• Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT (15%), and in the form of a complete costing schedule; signatures required on price changes.
• No alterations via tipex; misrepresentation or late submissions disqualify.
• Tender documents must be completed per the bid rules; no electronic submissions accepted.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 08 September 2026 at 12:00. Late bids are not accepted.
• Submission method: sealed bid envelope deposited in the Bid Box at Budget and Treasury Office, 25–27 Owen Street, Queenstown. Mark outside envelope: RFQ26/08/2026 UPGRADING OF 12 THERMAL PRINTERS.
• Documents to submit (where applicable): CK and company registration; CSD proof; SARS TCS PIN (or printed TCS); certified IDs of directors; comprehensive JV agreement (if any); BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; MBD forms as required; costing schedule with total price in words and figures; signed tender forms.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SARS Tax Compliance; municipal rates/service account status; SANAS IRBA/Accounting Officer B-BBEE verification if claiming points.
• Briefing/site: No formal site inspection; bidders must acquaint themselves with the requirements (terms of reference in the attached document).
