Requirements

• Key personnel: a Contracts Manager in permanent employment (or equivalent via sub-contractor) who is SACPCMP Pr.CM or ECSA Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech.Eng; replacement within 14 working days with equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum quality score: 70/100 across Plant & Equipment, Key Personnel, Company Experience, Financial References.
• Returnable documents and registrations: full Central Supplier Database (CSD) report, SARS Tax Compliance Status, valid municipal rates/taxes proof for the business and all directors, CIDB registration, B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, COIDA certificate, public liability insurance, performance guarantee letter, and related forms.
• Compliance controls: no forged documents; attendance at compulsory briefing; adherence to addenda; confirmation of availability of key personnel.
• Additional: 120-day tender validity; two-envelope procedure not used; no electronic submissions.

How to Apply

• Download bid documents from the Mbombela website and etenders.gov.za from 8 July 2026 (see Tender Document.pdf and Advert.pdf).
• Attend the compulsory clarification meeting: 17 July 2026, 11:00, Zwelisha Community Hall, Ward 04.
• Prepare and submit a sealed tender in a single envelope labeled “BID NO.: COM90/2026, UPGRADING OF 3.25KM SIWELA ROAD IN WARD 04” to the Mbombela Tender Box, 1 Nel Street, Mbombela 1200, before 11:00 on 11 August 2026.
