Overview

Upgrading of electricity supply to Martje Venter/Tarkastad Hospital, Tarkastad – electrical infrastructure works under a 3-month construction contract. Target bidders are electrical/infrastructure contractors with CIDB grade 2EP or higher, capable of JBCC 6.2 (2018) works, and able to meet local LED, safety, and procurement requirements.

Requirements

• CIDB: 2EP or higher in Electrical Infrastructure (EP); CIDB CRS number and active status.
• CIDB, CSD, and tax compliance: registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof; Tax Compliance Status or Tax Clearance; COIDA good standing; SARS status.
• Safety and payroll: Occupational Health and Safety Certificate; COIDA letter; valid safety personnel qualifications.
• Local economic targets: Project LED plan including Local Labour engagement and Local Material Sourcing from Eastern Cape; locality ownership points eligibility.
• Documentation: Returnable schedules including Organogram and key personnel experience, Preliminary program, LED strategy, risk/Litigation data, and completed SBD forms (SBD 1, 4, 6.1) with authorised signatories; CIDB and CSD documentation; proof of office address.
• Other: JV/consortium arrangements where applicable; consent POPIA; proof of office; references for similar projects.
