Requirements

• Open Tender with joint ventures allowed; each JV member is jointly liable.
• Compliance with anti-corruption, independence and debarment rules; include a Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Evidence of tax compliance (KRA Tax Compliance certificate).
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration: required as a contract award condition (registration before signing; not a precondition to tender).
• Foreign tenderers must meet 40% local content requirement and provide evidence.
• Completion of all Forms (Form of Tender, Joint Venture docs if any, and technical/price proposals) and submission of a Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; page serialization and sign-off on alterations.

How to Apply

• Prepare: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, tender security or securing declaration, JV agreement (or letter of intent), qualifications, and technical proposal (as per Section IV).
• Site visit: Mandatory pre-site visit on 3 November 2026 at Namba Market (see Tender Notice) (Mandatory briefing/site visit).
• Submission: deliver sealed tender in a single envelope (with an “ORIGINAL” package and applicable copies) to the Migori Procurement Box; electronic submissions not accepted.
• Deadline: 23 November 2026 by 10:00 local time (document indicates 10:00; metadata notes 08:00 in some records).
