Overview

Upgrading of the Ongegund Water Supply – a construction project requiring CIDB CE-class contractors. The estimated contract value is between R3 million and R6 million. Tenderers must be CIDB CE class or higher and meet the eligibility criteria in the Tender Data; preferences apply as specified.

Requirements

• CIDB registration CE class or higher with appropriate grading for the tender value; Regulation 25(1B/7A) considerations apply.
• Complete Annexure MBD 6.1 and claim preference points; provide original/valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates and proof of locality.
• Non-refundable tender fee of R530; payment via EFT to Swartland Municipality; documents are only available in hard copy (allow 2 business days for EFT clearance).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 2 October 2026 at 12:00; tenders opened publicly after submission; late tenders not accepted.
• Submission method: Duly completed tenders in a sealed envelope to the tender box at the Municipal Offices, Malmesbury (no email/fax).
