UPGRADING OF THE KLAPMUTS REFUSE TRANSFER STATION

Overview

Upgrading of the Klapmuts Refuse Transfer Station is being procured as a construction/urban works upgrade for a municipal facility. Bidders should be capable civil/construction contractors with CIDB Class 5CE or higher and experience in municipal works; familiarity with GCC 2025, SCM policies, and preferential procurement rules is relevant.

Requirements

• CIDB: minimum 5CE or higher
• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
• Tax status compliant
• Tenders must be sealed, clearly marked with the tender number, and deposited in the specified tender box
• Tender documents must be the completed set issued by the Municipality
• Hard-copy tender documents only; non-refundable fee of R1,460 per document

• Tender validity: 180 days
• Evaluation: GCC 2025, SCM policy, and Stellenbosch Preferential Procurement Policy (80/20: Price 80%; BBBEE 10%; Locality 10%)
