UPGRADING OF THE MASAKHANE WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS (WARD 9)

Overview

Procurement of upgrading the Masakhane Wastewater Treatment Works (Ward 9) – a construction tender for CIDB 7CE or higher contractors. Bela-Bela Local Municipality invites suitably qualified service providers to bid (80/20 preference: price and P_PP criteria). Mandatory CIDB grade: 7CE or higher. Requirements

• CIDB registration: 7CE or higher.
• Minimum bid data: company registration; directors’ IDs; CSD report; SARS Tax Clearance (PIN); signed joint venture documents if applicable.
• Financial and compliance: audited AFS if required; Workmen’s Compensation letter; municipal rates/taxes accounts not older than 3 months; proof of Tax Compliance Status; proof of registration with CSD.
• Returnable documents: all MBD forms (1–9) and related schedules as per the checklist.
• Other: formal Form of Offer and acceptance completed; CIDB grading consolidated for JV; signatories authorized.
