Overview

Procurement of works to upgrade Zezwe, Mvoti, Ntaka and Landa Roads in Ntuzuma from gravel to asphalt, including stormwater drainage and related civil works. Requirements

• CIDB: Contractor Grade CE 4 or higher; if a joint venture, combined grading must meet the requirement and every party must be actively registered.

• Certifications/Registrations: SARS Tax Compliance PIN; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; CIDB registration; BBBEE status (certificate or affidavit as applicable); returnable forms MBD 4, 8, 9 and declaration of municipal fees; CIDB JV grading where relevant.
• Clarification/Attendance: Compulsory Clarification Meeting (24 Aug 2026, 11:00 at 3 Zezwe Road, Ntuzuma A); attendance must be recorded.
• Tender submission: hard copy tender in the Tender Box (166 KE Masinga Road, Durban) plus electronic submission via the JDE ESP system; both due by 04 Sep 2026 at 11:00.
• Pricing/Compliance: rates excluding VAT for VAT-registered bidders; VAT shown separately; prices must be fixed for the contract duration; compliance with general tender housekeeping (signing, packaging, etc.).
• Documentation: returnable and compulsory enterprise documentation, CIDB/ CSD printouts, and relevant certificates attached to tender submission.
