Overview

UPGRADING TO BITUMEN STANDARDS OF ODDA – BUTE (B80) ROAD. KeNHA invites bids for upgrading the Odda–Bute road to bitumen standards (B80) under an open tender funded by the Government Development Fund. Eligible construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in Category 1 or equivalent for foreign contractors may bid; the successful bidder must register with NCA before contract signing. A mandatory pre-tender site visit is required.

Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications to submit with the bid:
• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation or Compliance for foreign contractors
• Copy of valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (class specified)
• Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of recent CR12 form (dated within 6 months)
• Serialization of all bid pages
• Tender Security in the form of an Unconditional Bank Guarantee (amount per tender)
• Other criteria: similar previous experience; equipment; professional/technical personnel; current workload and litigation history with sworn affidavit; JV requirements if applicable; compliance with PPADA and local-content rules (foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs locally)
