Overview

Upgrading to bitumen standards of selected link roads and construction of 2 footbridges within Meru Town, Kenya, under the Horn of Africa Gateway Development Project (HoAGDP). The works span several link roads in Meru County plus two pedestrian bridges, within a 40-month program (28 months construction, 12 months defects liability), funded by World Bank and procured under WB rules.

Requirements

• Eligibility and qualifications as defined in ITB Section III (Two-envelope bidding; open to eligible bidders).
• Bid security: KES 80,000,000 (or equivalent).
• SEA and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) declaration required; Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form required.
• Compliance with World Bank procurement regulations; submission with separate Technical and Financial parts (outer envelope ORIGINAL BID; inner ENVELOPE TECHNICAL; Financial part opened at second bid opening).
• Documents to submit include standard bidding forms and technical/financial proposals per Volume 1, and compliance with ESIA/ESHS requirements (Volumes 6–7).
• Non-electronic bidding; documents downloadable from the client’s website.
