Overview

RFQ BS 795: USHAKA MARINE WORLD - STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING ASSESSMENT – HIGH SLIDE CONCRETE PLATFORM. Invitees are structural engineering consultants registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and eThekwini Supplier Portal to perform a comprehensive structural assessment, concrete testing, and to prepare repair methodology, BOQ and cost estimates for a marine/coastal reinforced concrete elevated slide platform (approx. 3 storeys). Bidder profile should include: ECSA-registered professional, experience in structural assessments and concrete rehabilitation, and the ability to deliver drawings, specifications and costings.

Requirements

• Structural engineer(s) must be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) with proof.
• Demonstrable experience in structural assessments, concrete rehabilitation, and marine/coastal structures; minimum 2 client references.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS TCS PIN or other tax clearance; CSD number if no TCS.
• Complete and submit the required bid forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 (as applicable).
• Provide two contactable references, on letterhead, detailing project, year, and contact details.
• Not in the state service; complete related declarations; consent to mandatory declarations and anti-corruption provisions.
• Site induction and adherence to site safety/standards (OHSA, SANS 10400, etc.) during works.
