Overview

Eskom seeks a contractor to provide routine and non-routine maintenance for the Vanderkloof Power Station Fire Detection System under an NEC3 Term Services Contract (TSC3). The service is a 5-year maintenance arrangement at Vanderkloof Power Station, requiring CIDB/CSDG compliance, safety adherence, and related contractual deliverables (scope and pricing are in the attached NEC-based documents).

Requirements

• CIDB registration and evidence of local content commitments (CSDG) as applicable.
• Proof of CSD registration is mandatory for all tenders.
• Experience and capability to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on fire detection systems, in line with NEC3 TSC3 terms (scope in Attachment 1; NEC Term Services Contract in Attachment 1).
• Compliance with Eskom safety, health, and environment requirements (OHS, PPE, risk assessments, etc.).
• Financial viability evidence (submission of financial statements if requested).
• Adherence to PPPFA preferences and the 80/20 bid evaluation framework; mandatory tender returnables (SBDs) and related annexures.
• Joint ventures/consortium rules apply; liabilities and governance per Z clauses in the NEC data.
