Overview

SANRAL seeks consulting engineering services for the routine road maintenance of National Route. Eligible bidders are civil/road engineering firms (with appropriate professional registrations) and potentially Joint Ventures where one partner is a Targeted Enterprise. Key conditions: CSD registration at tender close, and JV rules (one partner Targeted Enterprise; the JV partner cannot count toward subcontracting targets). Tender documents are downloadable free from SANRAL and the National Treasury eTender portal (see Tender Documents NRA 2026-0014(C).zip). Briefing is virtual via MS Teams (mandatory).

Requirements

• Must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database at tender closing.
• Joint Ventures allowed; one JV partner must be a Targeted Enterprise; the JV partner will not contribute to Targeted Enterprise subcontracting targets.
• Complete and submit returnable schedules and documents for evaluation (Forms A1–A23, B1–B7, and pricing documents C2.2/SBD3, C2.3, etc.; see T2.1 in A Forms).
• Software compatibility: Microsoft Office 2013 and Acrobat 9.0 or equivalent.
• Compliance documents to be submitted with the bid (tax, BBBEE, OH&S, COID, etc.) as per the returnable schedules.
